Delicious & Refreshing Mango, Cantaloupe Delight Recipe – Try this Super Quick & Easy & Healthy Recipe during the Hot Summer Months!

Ingredients
1 mango, peeled and cubed
1 cantaloupe, peeled, seeded and cubed
1 1/2 cups berries, thoroughly washed and stemmed
(If using frozen berries, thaw and drain thoroughly.)
SYRUP:
1/2 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
grated zest of an orange
1 cup water
Instructions
In a saucepan, mix together the lemon juice, sugar, orange zest and water. Bring to a boil and cook until the liquid is reduced to about 1 cup. Chill thoroughly
Prepare fruit and toss with chilled syrup.
Refrigerate for at least an hour, but not more than 3 hours or fruit will get soggy.
Toss again and serve in individual bowls.
Makes 8 servings
This recipe is good made with raspberries or blueberries, both of which work as well frozen as they do fresh.
