You’re going to love this quick and easy garlic bread recipe. This goes well with Italian food, steak, soup… just about anything! My mom made this often and we all enjoyed it!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves, minced or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 loaf (1-1/2 pounds) French bread, halved lengthwise
Paprika
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl, combine the butter, cheese, garlic and oregano.
Brush onto cut sides of bread.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Broil about 4 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly toasted.
Slice and serve hot.
Makes 8 to 10 servings
